The classic Gin and Tonic cocktail is favored the world over for being light and refreshing, and it inspired culinary maverick Chef Josh Boutwood to create his latest restaurant concept, Juniper, after the berry that gives gin its signature flavor and aroma.

Juniper has a beautifully crafted food menu composed of small plates, large plates, a selection of desserts and sides, guests can also drop in solely for the dining experience it offers. “It’s modern yet still having a very high emphasis on quality of ingredients, execution, cooking style, innovation, and obviously deliciousness,” Boutwood adds. And of course, a large selection of gin- based drinks. “I love the versatility of the gin and tonic, the simplicity of it. It’s an extremely simple beverage to mix, but then when you incorporate flavors, aromatics, and the likes into the drink, you make it signature.

That’s essentially the restaurant’s concept. It’s very simple at its core, but you can make it more interesting by incorporating other flavors and cultural influences.”
